Expo Power Partnership

Posted on December 1, 2009

For the second time, ACCA will offer a broadened expo scope at its annual event by teaming up with the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA). After a resounding success at the 2009 event, the partnership between the two organizations continues in Tampa in 2010, exposing HVACR contractors to a wider array of products and information from exhibitors.

Once again, IAQA’s annual meeting will be happening at the same time as ACCA’s Annual Conference. Combining the exhibit portion of the event means more exhibitors and more attendees will be in the same place at the same time.

“Partnering to host one expo last year resulted in an unprecedented floor full of real decision makers in HVACR contracting and IAQA,” says Paul Stalknecht, president and CEO of ACCA. “Our contractors walked away with a grasp of a wider range of products available in the IAQ realm and IAQA attendees welcomed the opportunity to meet and discuss how IAQ and HVAC can work together.”

Of course, a wide variety of HVACR suppliers and manufacturers will be on the floor, giving contractors one-on-one  interaction with the leading providers of equipment and business solutions available to HVAC businesses today. Attendees will learn about all of the new products being introduced to the marketplace in a relaxed, no-pressure environment.

Exhibitors in 2010 will again experience the powerful cross-over of the combined event, adds Kevin Holland, vice president of business operations and membership for ACCA. “This is a larger event that draws a larger crowd,” he notes. “The IAQA attendees are from a complimentary industry which faces many of the same issues as the HVAC industry. This creates an energy on the Indoor Air Expo floor that you can’t find anywhere else.”

For a list of the companies already finalized to be on the show floor in Tampa, visit the expo information page on the Annual Conference’s website. New companies are added all the time, so be sure to check back frequently for an updated list.
