Commercial Winner Recognized

Posted on March 9, 2010

Drumroll, please! Conditioned Air was recognized Sunday as the residential winner of the Contractors of the Year program. Today, it was the commercial honoree’s turn to take the stage.

At the closing general session of ACCA’s 42nd Annual Conference, TAG Mechanical was recognized as the 2010 commercial winner. Located in Syracuse, N.Y., TAG Mechanical is a leader in executing a holistic approach to HVAC design.

TAG was in a tight race with the other commercial finalists this year, but came out on top for its continuously evolving leadership in the green building realm. Sure, they know HVAC—but they also have trained, certified professionals on staff who can help clients achieve LEED ratings, conduct whole-house or –building efficiency testing and generally serve as building science experts to the marketplace.

"This company exemplifies the best among ACCA members in serving commercial customers," said John Sedine, chairman of ACCA, as he announced TAG Mechanical as the winner.

TAG Mechanical’s Steve Tallman accepted the award on behalf of the company at today’s closing general session. "It means so much for me to accept this award on behalf of the TAG team," he said.
