Indoor pools -- Dive in for Profits Without Getting Wet
Keith Coursin, Desert Aire Corp.
Indoor pools are now found in all areas of the country and have become the standard design feature for every hotel chain. Indoor pools are also commonly found in schools, athletic facilities, community centers, fitness centers, and high-end homes.
The specialty HVAC application of indoor pools is complex and if not approached properly can very quickly become a problem job. This seminar will summarize key design considerations when dehumidifying, cooling and heating spaces that house indoor pools. The speaker will provide you with the confidence to seek out and successfully bid these uniquely profitable jobs. Insights from ACCA’s Manual SPS: Mechanical Systems for Swimming Pools and Spas, will be shared. While the dehumidifier is the heart of the system for the pool facility, it is your understanding of the application which will satisfy the customer’s needs and add to your bottom line.
