ACCA Conference FAQ

The ACCA 2027 Conference & Expo takes place March 10–12, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. National Harbor sits along the Potomac River, less than seven miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and about 10 miles south of Washington, D.C. Pre- and post-conference programming runs Wednesday, March 10, and Saturday, March 13. 

ACCA 2027 is built for HVACR business owners, general managers, service managers, technicians, salespeople, and anyone else working at an HVAC company. The conference also welcomes manufacturers, distributors, utilities, schools, and other industry professionals who serve the HVACR community.

No. ACCA 2027 is open to members and non-members. ACCA members do receive significant discounts on conference registration based on their membership tier (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), so if you’re considering joining ACCA, doing so before you register can help pay for itself. The ACCA education and events team is always looking for contractors to share their stories, lessons learned, and best practices on stage at ACCA events.  Simply complete our Call for Speakers application to submit your idea.  Have an idea, but not sure how to turn it into a breakout session? No worries!  The event team has dedicated presentation design experts ready to partner with you to give your content a voice!

A contractor is anyone working at an HVAC business. Everyone else, including manufacturers, distributors, utilities, schools, associations, and other HVACR industry partners, falls under the Industry Professional category. Contractor and Industry Professional registrations for ACCA 2027 are priced separately. 

The ACCA 2027 Conference & Expo offers several registration options to fit different roles and budgets: 

  • All Access Pass (Contractors only): Full access to keynotes, breakout sessions, the Expo Hall, networking events, and meals.  
  • Industry Professional Pass: Full conference access for non-contractors, including manufacturers, distributors, and other partners. 
  • One-Day Pass: Full Thursday or Friday access for contractors and industry professionals who can only attend one day. 
  • Social Pass (Add-on only): Access to the Awards Reception and after-hours events at ACCA 2027. Must be purchased alongside an All Access Pass. 
  • Exhibitor Upgrade: Available only to confirmed ACCA 2027 exhibitors. Adds full conference access on top of booth staff passes. 
  • Expo Only Pass: Free access to the ACCA 2027 Expo Hall floor. No session or event access.

Your All Access Pass to the ACCA 2027 Conference & Expo includes all educational sessions across business, technical, leadership, and talent tracks, both keynote presentations, full Expo Hall access, networking events including the Welcome Reception and Awards Ceremony, and meals during conference hours.

Yes. ACCA members save on conference registration based on their membership tier, with Gold Members receiving the deepest discount. Group discounts are also available for HVAC companies registering multiple team members. Contact events@acca.org for group pricing. 

Yes. We encourage HVAC business owners and general managers to bring their teams to ACCA 2027Owners, service managers, technicians, and salespeople will each find sessions built for their role, and group discounts make it easier to bring more people. Reach out to events@acca.org to set up a group registration.

Yes, some meals are included. Your ACCA 2027 All Access Pass includes meals and drinks at sponsored sessions and evening events. The Social Pass includes access to after-hours events but not daytime meals. 

A Social Pass ($699) can be added to any All Access registration and gives your guest access to the ACCA 2027 Awards Reception and after-hours events. The Social Pass does not include sessions or daytime meals. 

Some ACCA 2027 technical sessions qualify for HVAC CEUs. Specific credit eligibility varies by session and certifying body. Well publish the full list of CEU-eligible sessions closer to the conference. Download the ACCA 365 app once you register for the most current information. 

Cancellations are accepted with a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations after February 1, 2027 are not eligible for a refund. To cancel your ACCA 2027 registration, email events@acca.org. 

The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is the official ACCA 2027 conference hotel and offers a discounted conference rate of $325 plus tax. Rooms in the ACCA block are first-come, first-serve and must be booked by February 15 to receive the conference rate. Book your room here — third-party travel companies are not affiliated with ACCA. 

Arrive on Tuesday evening to be ready to go for Advocacy Day (additional registration required), or to participate in the workshopstyle sessions being offered by industry experts, all happening on Wednesday.  Stay until Saturday evening to join the add-on events, including a fundraising clay shoot, ACCA MIX Group ® meetings (bring your whole group!), or to experience the best of DC with special tours to experience with other attendees.   

Yes. Most first-time attendees come to ACCA not knowing anyone and leave with people they keep in touch with for years. ACCAs contractor community is welcoming, and the conference schedule is built to make it easy to meet people, from breakfast tables to breakout sessions to evening receptions. 

ACCA 2027 includes a Welcome Reception, the Awards Ceremony, ACCA After Dark contractor social, sponsored receptions and dinners, networking lunches, ACCA MIX Group® sessions on Saturday, and the Expo Hall, which doubles as a casual networking space throughout the conference. 

The ACCA 2027 Expo Hall features 100+ HVACR manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers showcasing the latest products and technology in the industry. Youll be able to compare options side by side, ask questions directly of the people who make what you install, and find solutions to bring back to your HVAC business. 

Theres no formal dress code at ACCA 2027. Most attendees wear business casual throughout the conference, and casual or branded company apparel is common on the Expo floor. 

Yes. The ACCA 365 app gives you the full ACCA 2027 schedule, speaker information, exhibitor listings, attendee networking tools, and live updates throughout the conference. Download it from the App Store or Google Play before you arrive. 

ACCA Advocacy Day, held Wednesday, March 10, takes ACCA members to Capitol Hill to meet with lawmakers on the issues affecting the HVACR industry. Its a chance to make your voice heard on the policies that shape your business. ACCAGovernment Relations team handles the logistics and prepares you for the meetings — no advocacy experience required.
