Networking Opportunities at ACCA 2027

Some of the most valuable moments at ACCA 2027 happen outside the classroom.

From contractor-to-contractor conversations and peer collaboration to social events, tours, and shared experiences throughout Washington, ACCA 2027 is intentionally designed to help you build meaningful relationships that continue long after the conference ends.

Whether you are attending for the first time or reconnecting with long-time industry peers, you will find opportunities throughout the week to connect, collaborate, and grow your network.

Networking Events

Throughout the conference, attendees will have access to a variety of networking receptions, social gatherings, and informal meetups designed to encourage authentic conversations and industry connection.

These events provide opportunities to:

  • Meet contractors from across the country
  • Connect with industry partners and leaders
  • Share ideas, challenges, and best practices
  • Build relationships in a relaxed, engaging environment

From hallway conversations to evening receptions, some of the best ideas and partnerships begin with a simple conversation.

Advocacy Day

There’s no better way to networking that to gather with others who share your passion for advancing key priorities in the industry.  Register for Advocacy Day to build meaningful relationships with contractors from across the country, and learn how to effectively advocate for change on Capitol Hill.  You’ll gain practical skills you can use to influence issues that impact your business year-round and meet directly with representatives from your district and begin building long-term relationships that extend beyond a single event.

ACCA MIX Group® Mixer and MIX Group® Meetings

One of the most powerful aspects of the ACCA community is the opportunity to connect with contractors who understand your business because they live it every day.

ACCA MIX Group® experiences are designed to:

  • Encourage deeper contractor-to-contractor conversations
  • Share operational insights and business strategies
  • Learn from others facing similar challenges
  • Build trusted relationships with industry peers

If you participate in an ACCA MIX Group®, we encourage you to bring your entire group and take advantage of dedicated ACCA MIX Group® Meeting space and activities on Saturday.

Tours and Activities

ACCA 2027 goes beyond the convention center.

Additional excursions and a clay-shoot fundraising event on Saturday are designed to help attendees experience Washington while continuing to build relationships with fellow contractors and industry partners.

These experiences create opportunities for:

  • Smaller-group conversations
  • Shared experiences outside formal sessions
  • Relationship-building in a more relaxed setting
  • Exploring the history and energy of the nation’s capital

Expo Floor Networking

The Expo Hall is more than a place to see products and technology — it is a place to connect with people.

In addition to meeting manufacturers and solution providers, the Expo Floor creates natural opportunities to:

  • Talk with other contractors
  • Exchange ideas and operational insights
  • Learn how others are solving similar business challenges
  • Build relationships across the industry

Some of the best conversations at ACCA happen right on the Expo Floor.

First-Time Attendees

Attending ACCA for the first time? You are not alone — and you are welcome here.

ACCA 2027 is designed to help first-time attendees quickly connect with other contractors, industry partners, and ACCA leaders through:

  • Dedicated networking opportunities
  • Social events and receptions
  • Peer introductions
  • Interactive sessions and workshops
  • Informal meetups throughout the week

Many long-term business relationships and friendships within the ACCA community started at a first conference.

VIP, ACCA Board, and Invite-Only Events

Throughout the week, ACCA 2027 will also host a variety of VIP, leadership, board, sponsor, and invite-only gatherings.

These events create opportunities for strategic conversations, leadership engagement, and deeper relationship-building among key industry stakeholders and community leaders.
